Promotions on Your Digital Menu

You can add images to your digital menu as promotions that will show after your menu screen(s) have displayed. First the menu screens will display, then the screen will change to show your promotions. 

Adding a Promotion Image

To add a promotion image, first go to the Digital Menu page in your dashboard. 

Next, click on the "Promotions" tab near the top area of the page. 

Promotional Slides

Now that you are in the promotions tab, you can start adding promotions to your digital menu. The first section on this page allows you to add full-screen promotions to your digital menu. The options in this section are: 

Image Promo: Upload an image to display as a promotion on your digital menu. If you want your promotion to display full-screen it will need to match the dimensions of the TV that you plan to display it on (typically 1920x1080 pixels for most TVs). 

Twitter Promo: Add a promotional screen displaying tweets that mention your Twitter account (a mention is when someone tags your "@" handle on Twitter, you can learn more about mentions from Twitter's documentation). 

Instagram Promo: Add a promotional screen displaying either Instagram posts made by the Instagram account you have connected or Instagram posts using a particular hashtag that you have specified in your social settings. 

Reviews Promo: Add a promotional screen displaying reviews from Facebook, Google, and/or Yelp. You can also set a minimum rating level to only show reviews above a certain rating (like reviews 4.0 stars and above). 

Once you add a promotion you will see it on the left side of the Promotion Slides area. There are a few different options that you can edit for your promotion: 

Rearrange promotions: You can drag and drop promotions to rearrange the order that they display in on your digital menu. 

Choose which device(s) to display promotions on: If you use multiple hardware devices to power more than one menu across multiple TV's this will allow you to select which of your devices you want any particular promotion to display on. 

Hide your promotion: This allows you to hide a promotion from displaying with the option to show it again whenever you'd like. This is helpful for any promotion that you want to display for a period of time, and then again in the future. 

Schedule when your promotion displays: This allows you to schedule your promotion to display during a particular time period. You can either schedule it "once" so that it will display from one particular date to another, or "weekly" to display on particular days of the week at certain times. 

Delete your promotion: Remove your promotion if you no longer want to use it. 

Footer Promotions

Below the Promotional Slides section there is another section for Footer Promotions. Instead of taking up the entire screen, footer promotions display at the bottom of your digital menu underneath the actual menu items. These allow you to display promotions without having to leave the menu screens. 

Message Footer Promo: Add a promotional footer section at the bottom of your digital menu displaying whatever text you would like as a promotion at the bottom of your digital menu. 

Instagram Footer Promo: Add a promotional footer section at the bottom of your digital menu displaying either Instagram posts made by the Instagram account you have connected or Instagram posts using a particular hashtag that you have specified in your social settings.
