How to Build a Website Menu

We offer customized embeddable website menus that automatically update when you update any of your menus! This website menu should work on just about every website out there (about 99% of websites).

Getting Started

To get started, click on the Website Menu tab in your dashboard. From here you will see that a default website menu has already been created in your dashboard, click on the edit button for that website menu.

This takes you to a screen that allows you to choose which of your menus will be included on this website menu. From here, you're able to adjust the info for the entire menu (left side of the screen) or individual categories (right side of the screen). To preview the menu as you build it, scroll to the bottom of the page. Once complete, make sure to click the green button to save and preview your changes.

When you've completed the personalized options and are ready to install your website menu scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the section call " Get the Code". This is the actual code you will need to copy and paste into the back end of your website. If you need help styling the menu with CSS, check out how to do this in our documentation on using CSS.

Examples of Website Menus in Action

Once you place the code on your website, the widget should adapt to the look and feel of your website by using the same fonts and colors as the rest of your site. Any time you go back to your dashboard to either update your menu items or any of your web menu settings, this should automatically be updated on your website as soon as your changes are saved in your dashboard without you ever having to make any additional updates on your site.

Below are some examples of what this looks like on a live website:
